Our Commitment To Sustainability and Social Responsibility
Since we started our business in 2007, we’ve been committed to building our furniture and sourcing our materials locally. Minimizing the impact our business operations have on the environment while investing in the local community.
Reducing emissions by keeping our furniture production locally: With location in 3 cities; (Miami. NYC, and Austin) our goal is to keep our production as local as possible. This means we source and build in the city we operate, reducing transportation of inventory between locations.
Contributing to the local economy: Building our furniture requires multiple vendors; from welders, carpenters, upholsterers, painters, metal suppliers, fabric & foam suppliers and more. Each event requires manpower to deliver and install events.
We work with local builders, source suppliers, and hire events staff locally in the city we operate, expanding our relationships with local businesses and investing our cost of goods sold in the US.
Building Local also adds value to our clients: the nature of events is that sometimes our clients need more quantities than what we have available, or last minute issues that arise on the day of the events. Our relationships with local suppliers makes it possible for us to say yes more often and provide our clients with what they need.
Maintaining our furniture to extend its life and reduce waste: One of the benefits of offering our furniture as a rental model is that we can fix it when it breaks so we constantly extend its shelf life avoiding unnecessary waste.
Nothing goes to waste with our Pallet Lounge Collection: We build the pallets using new wood for event design purposes, when it’s time to replaced them, they are returned back to our suppliers where they are repurposed and reused for other tasks like shipping and transportation, or the wood is used to build new pallets.
