Fun & Lounge in the Sun: Our 3 favorite outdoor summer lounges
It’s summer and everyone is escaping New York City for the Hamptons or other coastal serene places along the East Coast. With this, brands are heading out to summer destinations as well looking to bring people together in cool marketing activations and pop up events.
We had the opportunity to work on many events with a summer feel. And what are event planners looking to rent when designing a summer themed event?
Fun, colorful, and casual outdoor furniture and decor elements.
Lounge furniture with the classic Cabana Stripes, bright colored ottomans, beach umbrellas all set around a pool, by the beach or on a rooftop with summer style cocktails and good music (here’s a great playlist for this occasion >> Thank us later!).
Product placement is usually at the top of planners and brands minds when designing events and these cool Custom floaties are a great addition to showcase a brand or sponsor at the event.

A Branded Furniture Lounge in a private mansion
Striped outdoor furniture matched with striped beach umbrellas were rented to help create this lounge for a brand activation in a private mansion by R&CPMK. The rental furniture was placed outdoor, between the mansion’s pool and the access to the bay which elevated the summer feeling of the event. To top it off, one of the sponsors, a brand of Rose, provided summer style drinks for guests to enjoy this Poolside lounge.
A Rooftop outdoor lounge with colorful furniture
This eye catching outdoor lounge combined extra colorful rental furniture like our Coral ottoman and Flattered tables to create an intimate brand activation on a boutique hotel rooftop. The colors, together with the decor elements and the natural sun light created the ultimate summer outdoor event.
A Pool side lounge at the W Hotel
A Poolside lounge for a private event. Designed by event planner Guerdy Design, this outdoor lounge had a mix of our Meadow sofas set up face to face to create intimate groupings together with beach umbrellas and colorful accent pillows. Our Pallet Beds were set in rows to create extra seating and since the shade of wood on all furniture pieces was similar, the lounge looked cohesive throughout the space.
