3 Creative Ways to Elevate Your Group's Experience at Sporting Events

The Super Bowl, Stanley Cup and World Series are the big ticket sporting events each year,  right? We know that not everyone has the budget to get their group to these highly sought after (and expensive) events.

However, that doesn’t mean you have to settle for bleacher seats either. With baseball season underway, tennis tournaments on the horizon, and fall event planning (a.k.a. Football) just starting, let’s explore alternatives.

Here are three ways to create unique viewing experiences for your sporting events.

1. Upgrade your corporate tailgate

Whether it’s at a football stadium or on the outskirts of a race track (Nascar and horse racing alike), your corporate tailgate should be a step up from a TV and a grill. These are the perfect atmosphere for our pallet lounges

They can set a large group, come with cushions and pillows to match your favorite team’s colors, and the nature of the design lends itself to groups of various sizes and arrangements to fit nearly any tailgate layout.

Add in some coordinating umbrellas for shade, a few tables for guests to place the themed beverage or small plates, and you’ve got a tailgate fit for a corporate retreat.

2. Create an elevated viewing lounge

Let’s say your group is unable to travel to the headlining sporting event you want them to experience. Bring the experience to them via a custom viewing lounge.

This can be done inside an existing venue or in a tented space outside. Take a page from wine brand Kim Crawford’s book and create your own all-white escape for upcoming tennis events like the Miami Open and The US Open.

Once secured the venue, or built the temporary structure, we can provide high top tables, barstools and sofas to outfit it from scratch creating the perfect “just off the courts” vibe for a tennis event.

3. Branded VIP experiences for team building or incentives

Now let’s take the elevated viewing lounge concept, but transplant it onsite to the sporting event of your choice.

Multi-day tournaments, like in tennis, often sector off nearby parking lots and streets for sponsor experiences.

Take one of these over for your group and turn it into a fully branded experience as an incentive for top performers or team building retreat for your team.

The lounge can serve as the central hub for congratulating before the game, or match, starts as well as a reprieve from heat without missing any of the game play, thanks to your TVs and projection screens showing all of the action, of course.
