Event Furniture: New ways to use pallet furniture at your next event
When it comes to our event furniture rental collection, the best feature of our favorite line, the pallet furniture, is its ability to create an assortment of different looks for events in cities like Miami, New York City, Austin, and Las Vegas. For event planners, designers, and producers, looking for event furniture rental options in these places, the sky's the limit with our pallet furniture.
Our Pallet collection offers many pre-designed lounges to choose from. These include long, continuous seating or rectangular lounges for large-scale conferences in Las Vegas or Miami, island-shaped lounges to scatter around open spaces for music festivals in Austin, and pallet sofas and ottomans for smaller rooftop events in New York City.
Lately, we've expanded our event furniture rental collection as our clients in Miami, New York, Austin, and Las Vegas asked to rent more unique items. Pallet stages, branded Pallet walls, planters for plants made out of pallets, and pallet-inspired bars are some of the items we've been creating for corporate, conferences, and special events.
Let’s look at a few of these configurations we created for events.
The Pallet Bleachers:
A bleacher structure made entirely out of wooden pallets. It’s characterized by a tiered design, which allows each row to be slightly elevated above the one in front of it. This design ensures that spectators have a clear view of the event, whether it’s a product launch in New York City or a tech conference in Austin. The Bleacher can come in different sizes and can even have side stairs leading to the top tier. Event planners can rent this configuration when working on a more casual seating arrangement facing a speaker or a performance, from music showcases in Miami to corporate presentations with a casual feel in Las Vegas.
Below are the bleacher setups we created with our wooden pallets for the X4 conference in Salt Lake City. The event included three Bleachers set in a semicircle layout facing a stage where speakers were invited to speak.
Decor Suggestions:
Plants - If budget allows, add tall plants to the back side of the Bleachers and mix lower plants on each tier to add the tropical feeling. Suppliers like Mia’s Garden in Miami, Thriving Botanicals in Austin, or Starbright Floral Design in New York can provide beautiful tropical plants for events.
Colors - If the brand colors allow, explore a mix of cushion colors for each tier to elevate the mood and energy of the event.
The Pallet Wall:
A pallet-style free-standing wall that can be rented with or without branding. This 8’ wall is a great background for bars and can work as a selfie backdrop, or a free-standing decorated wall with a message or logo on it. The decor options for this wall are fun - event designers can hire florists to do their thing and add flowers and plants fitting the event theme or have a balloon company add colorful balloons and accessories to the wall.

Decor Suggestions:
Neon Sign - add some charm to the look with a colorful custom neon sign. The warm, natural tones of the wood are the perfect contrast to the vibrant, glowing colors of the neon lights, creating a visual that can be modern and nostalgic. And who doesn't like that feeling? A Pallet Wall with a neon sign is eye-catching and a focal point, so make sure the wall is located in a strategic spot within the event venue. Yellow Pop is a neon sign-making company with tons of design option
Flowers—Florists can do wonders with a backdrop, and the earthy tones of the wood provide a perfect canvas for the vibrant colors and delicate textures of the flowers. This elegant combination works for weddings, garden parties, product launches, and brand activations. East Olivia is a flower-focused creative agency in New York that can turn any wall into a beautiful flower installation.
The Pallet Bar:
The latest addition to our event furniture rental collection is the beautiful 6’ long Pallet Bar. It's made out of white pine stripes and has a sleek design that can work for both casual and high-end events. It’s made from the same material as our pallets and features a distinct pallet look.
A bar is one of the focal points in an event, and most of the time, the bar area needs to be a design extension for the rest of the event decor. The Pallet bar pairs well with our Pallet furniture collection. Because it has a modern look, it's versatile enough to fit a casual outdoor event in Brooklyn, a rooftop event with stunning views of New York City, or an upscale social event in the Hamptons.
Decor Suggestions:
Acrylic signs - Add an acrylic cut sign with a brand's message or logo. Acrylic is a transparent plastic sheet that is easy to fabricate and can come in many different colors. We always suggest going with a bright color. The brightness of the color on the Pallet Bar’s natural wood of the Pallet bar will have a similar effect as the neon - it's a vibrant contrast and an eye-catching piece. It’s also a bit more budget-friendly than the neon sign. Faulkner Plastics in Miami has a great selection of colors and can create any cuts for logos or letters.
String lights - string lights have been a very common rental product for events in the last few years. They add a lot to the atmosphere - they give romantic and cozy vibes because of the soft, warm glow they have. Events with a more casual theme like “Beer Garden,” “Havana Nights,” or festival-style setups tend to have string lights set throughout the seating and bar area. These lights can fit any type of event, from intimate venue gatherings to large corporate events and festivals. iIllumine event lighting in Miami has a good selection of string lights and other lighting options.
