3 Event Trends for 2025: Furniture Rental Edition

For event planners and conference organizers, creating memorable experiences isn't just about the activities happening at an event - it's also about crafting an environment that helps those moments unfold. This is where event themes come in. Every event has a theme. It helps designers decide on the different elements we see at events, from the venue to event furniture rentals to tabletop decor, etc. 2024 had us providing furniture for plenty of event themes and adding more themes to our Rent The Look page. As rental demands evolve into 2025, three fun trends from 2024 continue to influence how planners select their rental pieces and design their spaces. 

Event Trends: Resort Aesthetics

Summer vacation is a state of mind, and we're seeing more Conferences and corporate gatherings embrace resort-style furniture rentals. Cabana stripes, umbrellas, and bold colors transform standard coffee breaks, morning sessions, and branded luncheons into mini-getaways, encouraging relaxed networking and renewed energy throughout the day.

Event Trends: Block Party

The Block Party theme has been popular at company events as an add-on activity to the main conference (happy hours, outdoor food-truck dinners, etc.). But now, we're seeing this look taking over and becoming the go-to aesthetic for conferences, suggesting that Block Party is not only a theme but a whole experience. It's laid-back yet professional, creating a happy atmosphere with colorful outdoor rental furniture like our Pallet furniture, fun activations, food trucks, games, and more.

Event Trends: Wellness Breaks & Talks

As workplaces become more wellness-conscious, conferences and company offsites are joining the trend, not only in aesthetics but also by including wellness activities in their programming. More and more event organizers are designing dedicated lounge areas for well-being breaks. These lounges include rental furniture that is usually lower to the ground and has soft, earthy tones, as well as activities like guided meditations, yoga sessions, and mindfulness talks.
