Product Announcement: Our Sustainable Pallet Lounges Now Available Nationwide
Looking for a new lounge seating option with sustainable touch? Well, good news. Our signature Pallet Lounges are now available nationwide!
Originally launched in 2018 in Miami, the lounges are the ideal setting option for larger venues and spaces where you want to provide seating for many people without having individual chairs all over.
The creation of this new line took inspiration from public spaces and art installations. These spaces often have seating areas that bring people together to interact and enjoy the surroundings.
“We wanted to take on the challenge and come up with a similar concept [to that] in a way that can be recreated for events, particularly on the larger scale like festivals and conferences,” said our founder Ronen Tamary who worked with Creative Director Natalie Eshkenasy to bring it to life.
With that goal of creating a space with an art installation-style lounge, the Island Configuration was created as a focal point using repurposed shipping pallets and colorful cushions. The central seating area brings guests together to interact with the lounge and themselves however they feel like.
“We wanted it to feel inviting and attract guests to sit and mingle in a casual way,” said Tamary.
Since then we have expanded into eight signature arrangements with custom designs executed on request. Plus, after the pallets are no longer useful for seating, they are recycled once again back to a shipping partner for industrial and commercial use.
Designing Your Pallet Lounge
The process for designing the right lounge arrangement for your event is quite simple:
Choose a structure (or tell us how many people you want to seat & how many square feet it should be)
Add cushions
Add plants (optional)
Add pillows
Add tables
3 Ways to Use These Oversized Seating Options
1. Making big spaces more intimate.
There is nothing worse than arriving at an event and feeling like a tiny little fish in a very big pond. It’s much better that your guests feel welcomed into the space you’ve designed so much so thaT they want to stick around.
Because the inherent sizing of each lounger is large (8 ft. x 8 ft) they can make a larger space seem more intimate just by existing.
2. Alternative to ceiling treatments.
Have a space with a high ceiling? Whether you start with one or pair a series of them together, the pallets bring your guest attention lower, combating the overwhelming feeling that can come with lots of overhead space.
3. Create a design focal point.
Our team can work with you to create a multi-level arrangement that will catch your guests attention. Add in cushions in your brand (or favorite) colors, some monogrammed or branded pillows and you have a photo opportunity and seating area in one!
We currently stock 12 colors of cushions and pillows though custom colors or patterns can be ordered on request. The lounges are available from our Miami, New York City and Austin warehouses and can be shipped anywhere in the United States.
